About the Role
As a Chief of Staff at Chief Pursuit, you’ll act as the strategic right hand to our clients. You’ll sit at the intersection of vision, team, and execution, leading priorities, driving accountability, and building the operational backbone that keeps their company moving forward.
You’ll oversee project execution, lead internal rhythms like team meetings and reporting cadences, and bring clarity to every corner of the organization. Your job isn’t just to get things done. It’s to make sure the right things get done, the right way, at the right time.

Responsibilities
- Lead the weekly and monthly rhythms of the business such as L10s, standups, 1:1s
- Translate founder vision into clear, trackable priorities across the team
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational check-ins
- Manage team accountability and follow-through on goals and initiatives
- Own special projects, launches, or operational buildouts like hiring systems, reporting, or product rollouts
- Act as a central hub across departments to eliminate silos and misalignment
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team development efforts
- Create and maintain SOPs, backend systems, and workflow tools
Definition of Success
Success in this role looks like:
- Vision turns into traction. Big ideas are broken into realistic plans and consistently executed
- The team is aligned and accountable. Everyone knows their role, and priorities stay front and center
- Dashboards and KPIs drive clarity. No more guesswork, just visible progress
- The founder gets out of the weeds. They have time to think and lead again

- You are the founder’s most trusted partner. You solve problems before they become issues and bring structure to their vision
Requirements
- 3+ years in a Chief of Staff, Director of Operations, or Integrator-type role
- Experience working directly with founders or executive leaders
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive execution, and own outcomes
- Deep familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace
- High emotional intelligence and executive-level communication
- Confident leading meetings, aligning stakeholders, and holding others accountable
- Strong strategic thinking paired with tactical execution
- Able to work within U.S. business hours (flexible, but responsive)
